Plainfield Car Show: Come to the 12th annual car show being held on Sunday, September 8th at the Plainfield Family Moose Center from 12-4 pm. This show is open to the public and you will be able to enjoy breakfast food, hot dogs, burgers, brats, and chips for purchase. Tickets are available for purchase for your chance to win raffles and cash! This show is open to the public. The Plainfield Family Moose Center is located at 16310 S. Lincoln Highway in Plainfield.
Spectrum Youth Singers: Students in grades 3-8 have the chance to join this local choral group. The first rehearsal is Tuesday, September 10th at 7 pm at Eagle Pointe Elementary School located at 24562 Norwood Drive in Plainfield. If your child is interested in joining, visit http://www.spectrumsingerschicagoland.org/ to register.
Plainfield Park District Enchanted Ball: Friday, September 13th at 6:30 pm at the Prairie Activity and Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Road. This Beauty and the Beast themed event will offer crafts, snacks, and a DJ. Belle and the Beast will make an appearance as well. This is for ages 2 and up with a responsible adult. The cost is $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents. Please visit the Park District website to register.

Adult Creative Writers Group: Tuesday, September 10th at 7 pm at 650 Deerwood Drive Shorewood. Join Annalisa Russo to learn some valuable writing tips! If you are interested, register at the Shorewood Troy Library website.
Itty Bitty Art: Bring your littles, walking to 2 years old, to the Shorewood-Troy Public Library at 10 am on Thurs. Sept. 12th for arts and crafts. If you plan on attending, registration can be completed on the library website.
Zach Miller: Are you a Bears fan? Former Chicago Bear Zach Miller will be hosting a FREE autograph signing event at Skooter’s Roadhouse on Thursday, September 12th from 7:30 till 9:30 pm. Skooter’s Roadhouse is located at 700 W Jefferson Street in Shorewood. Go Bears!
Robert Rolfe Feddersen Event: Finally, if you enjoy music, good food, or great beer, you need to check this out! Saturday, Sept. 14th from 6-9 pm at Mad Hatchet Brewing, 913 Brookforest Ave. Head over to enjoy craft beer, original music, and food from Ta Canijo Taco Truck. There is no cover for this event.
