There are several Illinois summer festivals happening soon! Food, music, and more will be celebrated in the coming weeks!
Illinois Summer Festivals Season
- Taste of Joliet: Saturday, June 22nd and Sunday June 23rd at Joliet’s Memorial Stadium. Enjoy live music, food and rides. Tickets are $14 in advance and $16 at the door. Sunday’s tickets are $5 in advance and $10 day of.
- Yorkville River Fest: Friday and Saturday, July 12th and 13th at Riverfront Park located at 131 E Hydraulic Ave Yorkville. Admission is free and there will be food for purchase available, live country music, craft beer tasting, free kids games, face painting and more!
- Plainfield Fest: This 37th annual event is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, July 19th-21st. There will be live music, a bags tournament, a carnival, and food. Admission is free but food and drinks will be for sale and carnival rides will require tickets. This fun event happens right in the heart of downtown Plainfield on Des Plaines and Lockport Streets.
- RomeoFest: August 1st-4th at Deer Crossing Park and Village Park in Romeoville. This fun fest offers live entertainment, a car show, bingo, a carnival and more.
- Kendall County Fair: This fair is celebrating 27 years at the Kendall County Fairgrounds. This fest is happening from August 1st-4th and will feature carnival rides, live music, truck and tractor pull, demolition derby, a petting zoo, pony rides, and more!
- Shorewood Crossroads Fest: August 2nd-4th at Cene’s Four Seasons Park located at 25520 Seil Road. There will be a parade, live music, a car show, and more. General admission tickets are $5.
- Will County Fair: This historic 116th annual fair is set for August 21st-25th at the Will County Fairgrounds located at 710 W South Street in Peotone. This year there will be a chili cook-off, demolition derby, baby show, tractor and truck pull and more! For more information and a schedule of events, visit their website.
