Fitness Activities are opening up more in person now that the weather is starting to warm up! Experts say that 61% of people report a weight gain averaging 29 pounds… time to get moving! KB Fitness Boot Camp – 557 N Scott St. Joliet, IL 60432
Multiple Saturdays 10:30 – 11:30 am — Cost is $7.00 – This fitness camp is all about strength training. The camp features exercises to help build and tone your body.
Yoga on the Quad – Saint Francis University
Saturday, July 10th, at 8:45am — Cost is FREE– A great way to start off your morning! This is led by Jessica Monu, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Recreation and Sport Management. Modified versions of each position are presented. Bring your own mat and mask!
Flag Football Classes – Gregory B. Bott Community Park
Thursdays starting May 27th — Cost $64 Residents/$80 Non Residents – Fitness activities for kids! This is a six week program for kids from 5-12. Their main goal is to have fun, focusing on teamwork! All the basics are covered: running, passing, receiving and defense. Kids are in groups by age, with 5-6 at 4:00-5:00pm, 7-8 at 5:00-6:00pm, and 9-12 6:00-7:00pm. Sign up now before they are full!
