Do you Love your Home? When Covid hit, people started using their homes differently. People were working and kids were being schooled out of the home. This meant adding desk space. Since we were spending so much more time at home, the outdoor space became very important. More meals were being prepared so how we looked at our kitchen changed.
I think that this movement has changed us. We are all changed because of the last year. We see the space in our homes differently now and we have a better understanding of what we need and want going forward. Some of us will just need some remodeling but others might want a complete change. As far as the real estate market goes, I see so many people looking for that “special outdoor space”. Whether it is a large patio, pool, outdoor oven, or a theater system, people are looking for ways to utilize their free time in new creative ways.
Going forward, I think that people are more aware now of what is important to themselves and their families. I am interested to see the new trends that will come out of this time. Our homes are more important to us than ever before and since we are spending so much time in them, it is so important that we love our homes!
