There are many winter 2020 events happening in Plainfield! There is something for everyone including star gazing, a daddy daughter dance, family pizza and bingo night and more!
Winter 2020 Events in January
- Family Pizza and Bingo Night: Friday, January 17th from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Prairie Activity and Recreation Center (PARC). This fun event gives families the chance to eat pizza and play bingo. Also, there will be a chance to win prizes. This is for ages 3 and up and the cost is $15 for a family of 4 and $5 for each additional person.
- Igloo Dome Dining: Saturday, January 18th from 4-6 pm and Sunday, January 19th from 7:15 to 9:15 at Freedom Brothers Pizzeria and Alehouse. Enjoy this unique dining experience in a climate controlled igloo located on their patio. Also, check with Freedom Brothers to see about additional igloo dome dining events in February.
- Warehouse 109 Yoga & Wine: Thursday, January 23rd from 6-9 pm. Your $20 ticket includes a yoga session and a glass of wine or beer. Lastly, additional drinks can be purchased.
- To Chew or Not To Chew Dog Seminar: Saturday, January 25th at 1 pm at Wags to Whiskers pet store. This free one hour informative event will educate you on the best chews for your pooch. RSVP is required by calling 815-436-5957. Attendees will receive 25% off all chews that day.
February Events
- Star Gazing: February 3rd from 7-8:30 pm at Mather Woods. Participants will be able to use professional telescopes to to look at the sky. Additionally, this is for ages 3 and up and the cost is $5 per family.
- Daddy Daughter Dance: Friday, February 7th from 6:30-8:30 pm at PARC. This adorable event is for kids ages 3 and up and the cost is $22 per couple for residents and $27 per couple for non-residents. Finally, registration can be done through the Plainfield Park District and must be completed before the event; no on-site registration will be available.
- Fun Night Out: Friday, February 14th from 7-11 pm at Warehouse 109. Tickets range from $20-$40 and include live music from BERT’S REVENGE, one beer or glass of wine and a delicious sweets table. Also, there will be a cash bar available for additional drinks.
