Plainfield Fest 2019 is on the horizon! Read on for more information including what food, music and activities to expect as well as road closure info!
Plainfield Fest 2019 Details
- Carnival: A big part of the fest will be the yearly carnival which will be held at Plainfield Central High School, located at 24120 Fort Beggs Drive. Carnival hours will be 4-11 pm on Friday, noon to 11 pm on Saturday, and noon to 6 pm on Sunday. All of those days have regular ticket pricing ($1.50 per ticket, $25 for 22 tickets, or $60 for 55 tickets) but Sunday only will feature $25 for unlimited rides or regular pricing.
- Music: Saturday’s headliner will be rapper Tone Loc from “Wild Thing” and Maggie Speaks. Back Country Roads, American English, Eric Chesser (a Plainfield native) and more will perform. Friday is $5 entry after 5 pm and is country night featuring Back Country Roads at 6:30 pm and Eric Chesser at 9:30 pm. Saturday’s line up is Power Outage from 1-2:30 pm, American English from 3-5 pm, 7th Heaven from 6-8 pm and Maggie Speaks with Tone Loc from 9 pm until midnight.
- Food: There will be so many great food vendors at the fest this year, some of which include Aurelio’s, Dippin’ Dots, Kona Ice, Annabelle’s Bar B Q, Freddie’s Off The Chain, McWethy’s Tavern, and so much more.
- Bags Tournament: The Window World Bags Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, July 21st and registration is open now. Visit the Plainfield Fest Bags Tournament website for more information and if you’d like to participate.
- Best Pizza Contest: If you like pizza, you need to check this out! The Best Pizza Contest will be on Sunday from 2-4 pm when Vita Bella will compete to keep their place at first. Tickets are $5 per person and include samples of the pizza and the chance for participants to vote for the best pizza.
