Plainfield Fireworks 2019

The Plainfield fireworks display is right around the corner! Read on for important details about this fun annual event for the whole family!

 

Lot's of fireworks against the night sky; the Plainfield fireworks are just around the corner.

Plainfield kicks off their patriotic celebration before the 4th on July 3rd with the Plainfield Park District’s Patriotic Picnic & Fireworks. This happens July 3rd from 6 pm to 9:30 pm at Plainfield Central High School located at 24120 W Fort Beggs Drive. Check out the schedule of events below:

  • 6:00 pm: Raising of the flag and then bike decorating
  • 6:30 pm: Kid’s patriotic bike parade along with fun family activities
  • 7:00 pm: Park District Dance Camps Performance
  • 8:15 pm: Retire the Colors by the Plainfield American Legion
  • Fireworks at dark

Don’t forget to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and coolers! Food and drink will be available to purchase. Patriotic picnic spread with sparklers, candles, and more. The Plainfield fireworks are happening soon.
