Will County Dog Parks 101
There are 6 different dog parks located throughout Will county. They all have areas for dogs to run without a leash. A permit is required for dog owners to bring their dogs to the parks; you can apply for a permit on the Forest Preserve District of Will County website. If you prefer to apply for the permit in person, there are 3 visitor centers listed on the website that you can go to instead. The cost for an annual permit is $40 for Will county residents and $80 for nonresidents. For additional dogs, the cost is $20/dog for residents and $30/dog for nonresidents. There are discounts available for seniors 65 and older ($10 off) and veterans/active duty military ($10 off). Daily passes are available for $5. Additionally, the park rules and regulations can be found on the forest preserve website.
