There are several local weekend events happening! If your kids haven’t seen Santa yet, there will be opportunities to see him this weekend!
Local Weekend Events on Saturday, December 15th
- Santa and the Timber Elves Christmas Party: Santa will be available for photos at the 15th annual Timbers holiday event from 1 to 4 pm at the Timbers of Shorewood, located at 1100 N. River Road. This fun family event will feature two caricature artists, surprises, treats, and a petting zoo. Beverages, cookies, and popcorn will be available as will children’s games. Sunday, December 16th
- Jingle Bowl at Plainfield Lanes: Check out this fun event happening on Sunday from 12-4 pm. Santa will be available from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. Plainfield Lanes is located at 15610 Joliet Road in Plainfield. Visit the event site to make a reservation for this event. Reservations include 1 large 1 topping pizza, a pitcher of pop, a trip to Kringles Korner to decorate a Christmas cookie, a hot cocoa bar, Santa express pass, free Santa photo, 90 minute lane rental, and rental shoes for up to 5 bowlers.
- Christmas Cantata: Sunday at 8:30 am and 11 am at Plainfield United Methodist Church. This beautiful concert features the Chancel Choir and more information can be found by visiting their website.
