Upcoming Community Events 11/30-12/2

There are several upcoming community events for every member of the family! Craft fairs, toy drives, concerts, and more are all happening soon!

  • Gingerbread Junction Craft Fair: Saturday, December 1st at Hill Middle School in Naperville from 9 am until 3 pm. Admission is $3 and kids are free! If you are looking for a variety of vendors all in one place, check this out! This fun annual event features over 40 artisans selling everything from holiday decor, wood art, jewelry, candles, handmade soaps, pottery, and much more! Hill Middle School is located at 1836 Brookdale Road in Naperville.
  • Holiday Shoppe Craft and Vendor Market: Saturday, December 1st at Oswego East High School from 9 am until 1:30 pm. Check out this first annual event that will include 100 crafters and vendors offering unique gifts, a bake sale, photos with santa, and more! If you would like your gifts wrapped, there’s even a gift wrapping service! Admission is $3 with kids 12 and under free! Oswego East High School is located at 1525 Harvey Road in Oswego.
  • Christmas Craft Fair at Timbers of Shorewood: Saturday, December 1st from 10 am until 3 pm. This fun local event will feature more than 45 vendors and crafters selling everything from jewelry, art, cookies and much more! The Timbers of Shorewood is located at 1100 N. River Road in Shorewood. If you need additional information about this event, call 815-609-0669.
  • JFK Senior Building Christmas Sip & Shop Vendor Show: Saturday, December 1st from 1 pm until 6 pm at the JFK Seniors Retirement Building in Joliet. This event will have several vendors and was created to support a free annual Christmas concert and dinner for the residents of the building. If you would like more information, call 815-388-7888.

Upcoming Community Events Sunday, December 2nd

  • Plainfield Moose 20th Annual Toy Drive: Toys, money, or gift cards can be dropped off at the Plainfield Moose Family Center on Sunday, Dec. 2nd beginning at 11 am. The majority of the gifts stay in the Plainfield School District. Participants are invited to drop off the gifts and stay for food and beverages. If you are a Bears fan, stay for the Bears game! The Plainfield Moose Family Center is located at 16310 S Lincoln Hwy in Plainfield.
  • Spectrum Singers Holiday Concert: Sunday, December 2nd at Plainfield Congregational United Church of Christ located at 24020 West Fraser Road in Plainfied. If you enjoy music, check out this concert; it begins at 7 pm and tickets are $7 at the door.
