There are many fun Shorewood events happening this spring and summer! Check out this list of things to do for the whole family!
- 2nd Annual Shorewood Show & Shine Car Show: Sunday, May 21st 2017 from 10 am until 3 pm at Cene’s Four Seasons Park. This family event will feature music, food, and unique cars.
- Memorial Day Celebration: Monday, May 29th 2017 at 6 pm at the Veteran’s Memorial in Towne Center Park.
- Party In The Park: This family event will take place on Thursday’s this summer at the Towne Center Park Band Shell. Event dates are June 8th, June 15th, June 22nd, June 29th, July 6th, July 13th, July 20th, and July 27th. Each event will feature either a band or a movie and there will be food and beverages available for purchase. - Children’s Fishing Derby: Saturday, June 3rd from 9 to 11 am at Towne Center Park for children ages 12 and under. Registration starts at 8 am that day or to pre-register, call (815) 741-7710.
- Shorewood Kite Fest: Sunday, June 25th 2017 from 11 am until 3 pm at Cene’s Four Seasons Park. This is free to attend; professional kite flyers will be at the event for demonstrations.
- National Night Out 2017 presented by the Shorewood Police Department: This annual event will take place on Tuesday, August 1st from 5:30 pm until 8 pm at the police station located at 903 W. Jefferson Street. This fun event will include a DJ, “touch a squad”, moon jump, station tour, movie, firearms simulator, taser demonstration, food and beverages, raffles, and the Matt Whilhem BMX Show.
