Thinking of grilling for the big game on Sunday?
- Ensure that your grill is cleared off and the knobs are not frozen. Also, be sure to have lot’s of fuel available because grilling in the cold usually takes longer than warm weather grilling.
- Allow plenty of time for the grill to preheat; this will take longer when it’s cold out but it’s essential to make sure the food doesn’t stick to the grates
- Stay safe and warm; wear warm gloves that don’t restrict movement too much so that you don’t drop anything
- Only open the grill lid when necessary to prevent too much cold air from getting to the food, making the cooking process much slower
- Brush off the grates while the grill is still warm for a quick cleanup
