Patriotic Strawberries

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, rinsed and patted dry
- 1 pint of fresh blueberries, rinsed and patted dry
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- graham cracker crumbs, optional
Directions
- Using a small melon baller, cut out the strawberry stem and slightly hollow out the inside of the berry. Cut off a small part of the pointy tip of the strawberry so that the berry can stand. Put them all on a large baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, with either a standing or hand held mixer, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla on medium speed for about 2 minutes or until fluffy. Place the mixture in a pastry bag (or large ziploc bag with a small corner snipped off) and pipe into each strawberry, adding a little extra filling on top. Place one blueberry on the top of each strawberry, nestling it gently into the filling.
- Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Lastly, sprinkle each berry treat with graham cracker crumbs, if desired.
