Work is scheduled to start on April 7th to extend the bike path along Van Dyke Road south to Lockport Street. Asphalt patching and seal coating will take place at various points along the path at Van Dyke Road, 135th Street, 119th Street, and Settler’s Park. The project is combined with the new pedestrian signals at Van Dyke Road and Lockport Street in order to improve pedestrian access. The project is scheduled to be completed in late May or early June. This will make a very nice addition to the city of Plainfield!
