Today begins National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, which runs from Feb.7th-9th. Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana are teaming up with the USO to create Gift of Caring: Troop to Troop. This program supports men and women in the US military by sending them a sweat treat-girl scout cookies. Customers can purchase cookies for the troops at $4 a box. The cookies will be distributed directly to the troops.
