Operation Welcome You Home is hosting their 4th annual Stars-N-Strikes for Military Heroes “Glow N Bowl” fundraiser on Saturday, August 23rd at 5 pm at Town & Country Lanes in Joliet. The event includes prizes for the top three male and female “glowers” and also the first and last place bowling teams. Bowlers can also enter to win big prizes such as diamond earrings or a TV. The cost per bowler is $35 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under with a size small adult shirt and $20 for kids 12 and under with no glow shirt purchase. Wounded warriors bowl for free. Teams of up to 6 people may participate and registration needs to be completed by August 4th in order to be guaranteed a T-shirt. All proceeds from this event go to local veterans in need.
