The Joliet Area Historical Museum is hosting a craft and import beer tasting event on the rooftop this Thursday, July 17th from 5:30 pm until 9 pm. Samples of various craft and import beers and ciders from over 14 breweries will be available and local Breweriana collector and historian John Bittermann will have his collection on display and will be holding a presentation at 7:30 pm about Joliet’s oldest and most famous brewery buildings. Callaloo, a popular steel pan band will be playing as well. Tickets are $18 or $16 for museum members and includes unlimited beer tasting as well as hot appetizers, prizes and raffles, and free tours of the museum.
