WCKG Radio Interview on Home Buying & Selling

My WCKG radio interview went very well. The information I was able to get out to the listening audience  was very informative information that I feel is important to buyers and sellers of today’s market.

First I talked about the Dawn Dause Group; my buyer’s agent Janet Letto, and my two assistants. I was asked about how sellers and buyers differ in what they need:

Home Sellers and Buyers

  • Sellers it is all about getting the home on the market at the best price. Getting the home staged and going through the home’s value.
  • Buyers are all about the best deal. Buyers need to know everything they can about the home they are interested in to know if it is the home for them.

Use a Professional Agent – It is Worth it!

Second we talked about how using a professional agent over selling a home by owner has shown to increase a home price of 23% on the average! That is huge! Hiring a professional real estate agent is so important, saving clients so much time, money, and stress!

Communication is Key!

Third we also talked about the biggest complaint home buyer’s and home seller’s have and that is communication. They are not getting the information that they need to make good decisions.  I talked about how The Dawn Dause Group goes to great lengths to make sure that all of their questions are answered, even ones that they don’t know are important!

It is all about Price, Pictures, & Condition

Then we talked about how homes need to be staged properly to draw attention to important key areas of the home.  I explained how I am a professional stager and I make sure that my clients understand that there are three important areas of home selling; Price, Pictures, and Condition. This brings us to why the photos are so important. The photos really need to properly portray the home and that is why I have a professional photographer, one of my assistants, take the photos of all my homes.

Today’s Market is All About Price

Lastly, the market. In today’s market it is all about pricing! Homes that are overpriced do not get noticed and underpriced homes are not getting the seller the equity that they should have!
