Movie In Settlers’ Park

Community 5K

On Saturday June 21st, the Community 5K will take place in Plainfield around Settlers’ Park and Wallin Woods. A kid’s 1K race will begin at 7:30 am in Settlers’ Park followed by the Community 5K which will start at about 8 am near Plainfield Village Hall. Parking for the event will be at Ira Jones Middle School, Riverfront Park, and Village Hall. The following roads will be closed temporarily during the race from 7 am until around 9:30 am: Village Center Drive between Lockport and Van Dyke, Van Dyke from Lockport south to the dead end, Ottawa Street from Van Dyke to Wallin, and Wallin Drive at Ira Jones Middle School.

Eyes On The Summer Sky Event

Dave Fuller, the sky guy, will perform entertaining reenactments about the myths behind the constellations. The event is for the whole family!
